care to share?

What would humanity be without art? Absolutely nothing. Art truly sets us apart from the animals here on this planet and humans do art so well. What have you done that you are proud of? Have you painted a mosaic? Have you wrote an inspiring song? Perhaps you've sculpted a statue in the likeness of your most beautiful dream. Why not share that with the world. This is your portal to do so. In time, you will be able to use this section for all your resources to the art world around you. Though we know passion and art tend to have little patience, you will have to.

Recitation and performance are major new trends in poetry. There has been a recent resurgence of poetry as an oral art form, as seen in the slam poetry movement and the immense popularity of hip-hop music. Poetry Out Loud builds on that momentum by inviting the dynamic aspects of slam poetry, spoken word, and theater into the English class.
