The Uptown Music Collective is a nonprofit school of music located in Williamsport, Pennsylvannia. Founded in 2000 by musician and educator Dave Brumbaugh, the school is intended to fill the gap between the traditional music education and the student interested in studying and creating modern musical styles.
The school offers expert private instruction at all levels and in all styles, on the guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and voice. In addition to private lessons the Uptown Music Collective overs a wide variety of classes that run the gamut from beginner level to advanced level courses in music theory, songwriting, arranging, recording, ear training and more. There are also weekly workshops that feature group instruction and group performance in a wide array of music styles, including: Rock, Jazz, Blues and more... Over the years they have built an excellent reputation for both the quality and the shear number of performances included in their extensive performance program. That program includes three student recitals, two major performances and a large number of public performances throughtout the Williamsport area each year. The Uptown Music Collective also works with other local nonprofits to provide free music programs for "at rist youth" through CAPPA, The Salvation Army and the Covenent Central After School Program.

Welcome to Turning Pointe School of Ballet! The main objective at Turning Pointe School of Ballet is to give the students the best training possible, while maintaining a positive, creative environment. With classical ballet as the main focus at the school, the students will have a greater understanding of movements in other classes - such as modern dance, jazz, and tap. Ballet has been around for centuries! Also, it has greatly influenced many styles of dancing, and is possibly one of the most demanding physical art forms.
